Latschbacher’s WinforstPro NG ERP and logistics system generated significant interest. With over 30 modules, it covers all forestry processes—from inventory to billing—and enables a seamless process chain in timber marketing and traceability. Furthermore, the software is fully prepared for the requirements of the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). Visitors showed particular interest in the logistics solutions, which fully digitize timber procurement and can be individually adapted to customer needs. They offer the industry an innovative and future-proof solution.
Focus on Innovation
Of particular note is the electronic caliper, which impressed international visitors from Europe, Africa, South America, and Japan with its unique operating concept for manual timber measurement. Another highlight is the production-ready introduction of RFID technology in timber marking. The robust tags with RFID chips enable quick and easy timber identification. For this purpose, the proven marking tools, magazines, and the Signumat hammer are used. During the live demonstration with a handheld scanner, visitors were able to see reading ranges of over 5 meters for themselves.
