Tags that grow with the tree

Trees in urban areas provide energy, purify the air, and enhance well-being. To efficiently monitor and manage these valuable tree populations, we have developed the patented Arbo-Tag. This identification system grows with the tree. The plastic tags feature a star-shaped perforation, which allows the tree bark to push the marker outwards as it grows.

Arbo-Tags

As more and more municipal and private tree owners systematically record data on their tree populations, we have developed a suitable system that includes high-quality Arbo-Tags and their correct application.

Arbo-Tags ensure simplified management of tree populations as well as the identification of trees during tree inspections, tree care measures, and the creation of tree inventory plans. The patented Arbo-Tag system is the only tree numbering system that grows with the diameter of the trunk.

Available in black or white, consecutively numbered or with individual lettering, Arbo-Tags guarantee reliable monitoring of urban tree populations.

Fastening technology

The practical tool set consists of a slide hammer, tag magazine, and carrying bag for tags and pins. The particularly long handle on the hammer allows the tags to be attached at heights exceeding 2.5 meters – preventing the tags from being removed by unauthorized persons.

The new Signumat Arbo-Tag Magazine is perfectly suited for subsequent numbering in live tree identification. With the new magnetic nail pouch and ergonomically designed shoulder strap, it is not only practical but also comfortable.

The new Signumat Arbo-Tag Magazine is perfectly suited for subsequent numbering in live tree marking. With its new magnetic nail pouch and ergonomically designed shoulder strap, it is not only practical but also comfortable. Additionally, the Signumat Double-Save handling has been introduced, which enhances safety when working in the forest. In summary, the new Arbo-Tag Magazine offers numerous user-friendly innovations.

Magazine and carrying bag only available as a complete set! The practical carrying magazine with a capacity of 240 numbered tags in combination with the magnetic nail holder in the specially developed Arbo Hammer enables quick attachment of the tag to the trunk. Depending on the stand density, between 120 and 200 Arbo Tags can be attached per hour. With the specially extended hammer handle, mounting heights of 2.5–2.8 m are possible. The tags are attached so high on the trunk that unauthorized removal is almost impossible.
